Screenshot to PDF

Combine screenshots into one PDF, in the order you choose, without sending them anywhere. Pages can match each screenshot exactly or sit on A4/Letter.

How to turn screenshots into a PDF

  1. Drop your screenshots onto the panel, paste one from the clipboard, or open this tool from a vault selection (select captures in the vault and press PDF).
  2. Put them in order. Drag a frame onto another, or use the arrows.
  3. Pick Fit page to image for pixel-for-pixel pages (best for sharing on screen), or A4/Letter when someone will print it.
  4. Press Create PDF. The file downloads straight away.

Which page size should you pick?

“Fit” pages are sized at 72 points per 96 screen pixels, so a 1440×900 capture becomes a 15×9.4 inch page that looks identical to the original at 100% zoom. Printers ignore such odd sizes and scale to paper, which is why A4 (210×297 mm) or US Letter (8.5×11 in) is safer for handouts. Two per page suits landscape desktop captures on a portrait sheet; four per page works as a contact sheet for a review.

Questions

Are my screenshots uploaded to make the PDF?

No. The PDF is assembled in your browser with the open-source pdf-lib library. The images never leave your device, which is why it works offline once the page has loaded.

How do I put several screenshots into one PDF?

Drop or paste all of them, drag the thumbnails (or use the arrow buttons) into the order you want, choose a page layout and press “Create PDF”. Each screenshot becomes a page, or several share an A4/Letter page when you choose a grid.

Will the PDF be blurry?

With “Original quality” the screenshot pixels are embedded unchanged as PNG, so text stays as sharp as the capture. “Smaller file” re-encodes as JPEG at 85%, which shrinks photos but can soften small text.

Can I turn an iPhone screenshot into a PDF?

Yes. Open this page in Safari, tap the drop area to choose from Photos, then save the PDF to Files. The “Fit page to image” layout keeps the tall phone shape without white borders.
